Likewise, you can remotely shut the engine off as long as the engine was initially turned on using RES+. Furthermore, as a convenient alternative, you can remotely start and stop your engine by using your Lexus SmartAccess fob.6 This clever system also enables you to remotely lock or unlock2 your vehicle doors and a message will be displayed across the door lock/unlock screen confirming that your doors have been successfully locked or unlocked. Furthermore, RES+ allows you to locate your vehicle7, 8 in a crowded open parking lot, get the outside temperature near your vehicle, check your engine start/stop2 and door lock/unlock status2and even receive an email when your factory-installed theft-deterrent system is activated.
